New burger restaurant, ‘love letter to Las Vegas,’ opens in Centennial Hills – Las Vegas Review-Journal

They go from spooning to whipping. But they keep the comma.

Two of the founders of Sorry, Not Sorry Creamery – Drew Belcher and Kevin Whalen – recently opened With Love, Always, a great burger restaurant on North Durango Drive in Centennial Hills.

The founders teamed up on the project with Damien Ocampo, a culinary social media personality who joined Whelan in 2021 to create a parking garage pop-up that would eventually become With Love, Always.

“This is our love letter to Las Vegas,” Belcher said of the restaurant, the name being close to that strong message.

Burgers, fries, cones

The burgers, Belcher said, use “never-frozen beef, with patties formed fresh throughout the day.” They are crumbled on the flat surface, then cooked to produce a lightly caramelized crust.

Classic burger comes with American cheese, pickles, onions and Love sauce. The All-American, a semblance of the McDonald’s standard, includes American cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard. For the SOB – Crushed Onion Burger – white onions are smashed into the patty; when done, the american cheese, pickles and love sauce go on top.

Burgers can also be topped with chili, grilled onions, jalapeños and bacon. Martin’s Lightly Baked Potato Roll makes sandwiches with all the trimmings and fixings.

Fries are cooked in wagyu beef tallow and served plain or with American cheese, caramelized onions, pickles and Love sauce. Or order with a smashing burger, toppings and condiments on a bed of fries.

With Love keeps it simple with sweet: soft ice cream flavors available plain or dipped.

Big opening party

The restaurant’s red-tiled bathroom is hung with white-framed images of important people and events in Vegas history.

Check out the taproom from 6pm on Saturday as the restaurant hosts an opening party. The first five guests in line get free combo meals (burgers, fries, drinks) for a year (one per week), the first 25 get free merchandise, and the first 100 in line get a combo meal. There’s also a raffle for TVs, PlayStation 5s and $100 worth of gift cards.
