Sparks, Nevada (News 4 & Fox 11) – A deadly crash closed a major intersection in Sparks during a busy trip on Monday morning.
Nevada’s highway patrol police reacted at the intersection of the Pyramid highway and McCarran Boulevard. Shortly after 5 o’clock on the morning of January 27, on a signal of a two -cars crash.
Witnesses tell NHP that Nissan truck was traveling west along McCarran Boulevard. And he failed to stop at a red traffic light by hitting a jeep who traveled south on Pyramid Highway. The jeep driver was killed on the spot and the driver of the pickup was taken to hospital with severe injuries.
Officers are expecting the intersection to be closed by about 9:30 in the morning
