Nevada State Police Arrest Suspect in December, shooting near I -580 and Mill Street in Renault – Krnv

Washoe County, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) – The State Police in Nevada arrested a suspect in connection with the December shooting on Friday.

Detectives with the State Police Investigation Department in Nevada were located and detained a suspect in connection with the shooting, which took place on December 11, 2024, near the I-580 and Mill Street in Renault, on February 7th.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Kalin Santiago Bessrera, was taken in custody without incidents. The arrest follows an extensive investigation of coordination with state and local law enforcement authorities.

Becerra-Rea was booked at the Washoe County County Center with multiple accusations, including an attack with a deadly weapon.
