Nestlé USA New state-of-the-art factory in Glendale, Arizona, to produce Starbucks-Comnicaffe brand

Arlington, USA – Nestlé USA has announced the large opening of its new drink and distribution center in Glendale, Arizona. The new facility will produce creams for several Nestlé brands, including Mate Coffee, Natural Bliss and Starbucks, and can extend to additional drinks in the future.

Today, people enjoy coffee and cream beyond their morning combinations, covering more drinking occasions throughout the day. In addition, consumers whiten more than 70% of their cups of coffee, and this number is expected to increase as the younger generations drink more. As a leader in the space of refrigeration creams, Nestlé is ready to take this opportunity and investing over $ 675 million in the Glendale facility, Nestlé increases its production network to deliver to these users today and in the future.

Nestlé USA: Investments in US production and sustainability

The new location marks the 20 Nestlé USA Food and Drink Factory and is the largest in over $ 3 billion investment to improve its production capabilities in the United States in the last few years. The 630,000 -square -foot facility is equipped with modern technologies and digital tools, which allows the flexibility to displace production based on changing needs of consumers, trends and even seasonality. Its opening leads to 300 jobs in the Glendale community and puts Nestlé closer to West Coast customers at retail.

Based on its years of work and progress, to help create a more sustainable future, Nestlé designs the new Glendale facility with resistance to the foreground:

The factory is equipped with water management tools for recycling and adjusting up to 75% of its processed processed water in order to continuously improve its recycling and re -use capabilities. To improve this impact on the facility and the community, Nestlé partnered with students and researchers from Arizona State University to continue to explore innovative water management technologies and optimization of waste flow.

The factory produces creamy bottles that can be recycled and made of recycled plastic with food classes.

The factory is a zero disposal loss, which means that it recycles, composts or restores energy from waste materials that would otherwise go to a depot.

Renewable electricity is used by the factory to help reduce carbon emissions.

The Glendale facility adds to the Factory presence of Nestlé in Arizona, joining both Nestlé Purina in Flagstaff and the Nestlé Health Science in Press.

Support to the local community

As part of its mission to unlock the power of food to improve the quality of life of everyone today and for the next generations, Nestlé USA is committed to having a positive impact where we live and work. Today, Nestlé is also announcing a $ 100,000 donation to St. Mary’s Food Bank. This donation will provide enough food for 500,000 meals and support the work of St. Mary to spread food without the cost of millions of people, along with providing considerable training to work for those who face the challenges of employment in Arizona.

The company is already engaged in the Glendale community, voluntarily engaged in local organizations, including the mission, continues and encourages the next generation of production talents, inviting local high school students to the facility to get acquainted with the career production opportunities.
