Esie May Cora Lee Humphrey Potts, 89 years old, a resident of Santa Fe, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his residence.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Heritage Funeral House with Rick Points and Roger Humphrey. After the service, she will be buried in the cemetery of the Johnson Chapel. A visit will also be held on Friday from 11:00 – 1:00 pm at the Funeral House. The funeral home of heritage helps the family with reservations.

Born July 2, 1935 in Mauri, Tennessee, Cora is the daughter of the late Dave Humphrey and the late Irma Thompson Humphrey. On December 24, 1950, she married GC Potts, who preceded her in the death on October 13, 2010. She found a joy of crochet, walking and canning. One of her hidden traditions was to gather with the family every year to collect Natchez Trace.

She is Survived by Her Daugter, Brenda Kay Potts of Santa Fe, Dawter in Law, Dottie Potts of Santa Fe, Sister in Law, Ellen Humphrey of Santa, Grandchild, Cindy a Fe, Timmy (Virginia) Pots of Lyles, James (April) Scott, Jr. from Colombia, John Scott of Santa Fe, Big Grandki, Jacob Beaver, Lucas Pots, Brandon Tidwell, Melissa Potet, Taler Scot Sarah Baitverk, Christian Baytrk, Savannah Ray Scott, Kelly Scott, Brinius Scott, Dylan Scott and Abel Scott, Great great -grandchildren, Caleb Beaver, Rail Pot and several other great great -grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded by death by her sons Jerry Potts, Carl Potts, daughter, Linda Fay Potts, daughter, Patricia Potts, Grandk, Bobby Pots, Brother, Jr. Humphre and Sister, Pauline Williams.

Pallbeaers will be Timmy Pots, Jacob Beaver, Lucas Pots, James Scott, John Scott and Waine Malugin.
