Baton Rouge, La. (Louisiana first) – Baton Rouge is preparing to host the open -ended bowling championship in the United States (USBC), and Baton Rouge’s zoo of Brek notes the case with a new creative installation installation.
On Wednesday, February 19, the zoo revealed a four -meter bowling pin and a ball inside its giraffe exhibition to celebrate the upcoming championship, which lasts from March 1 to July 27, 2025 at the Rising Cane River Center.
“This fun addition to our giraffe exhibition celebrates the spirit of the USBC Open Championship, while giving visitors a unique and engaging reason to visit the zoo,” says Brittany Tuli, a senior communication manager at the Breck Rouge zoo. “We are glad that we are part of the excitement and show this creative nod to the tournament.”

The installation will remain on display in mid -August, offering guests the opportunity to see the reverence closely.
Representatives from Brek visit Baton Rouge, Zoo Foundation Baton Rouge and Baton Rouge Airport attended the opening.
According to Visit Baton Rouge, the city welcomed a record 8.8 million visitors in 2023, generating $ 1.7 billion local economic impact. Large -scale events, including meetings, conventions and sports competitions, have contributed $ 46.2 million to the local economy, further cementing the status of Baton Rouge as a top destination for major events.
