Reno, Nev. (Kolo) – The annual GRAS of Reno Blues Society (RBS) Mardi Gras and Silent Auction returns this weekend at the National Automobile Museum (NAM). The event includes a Blues concert and a dance party featuring John Nemmet and Buddy Emmer Blues Band.
Jayde Ryan Kolo 8 has stopped NAM Tuesday and talks with the CEO of NAM, Phil Macdougall and Corrine Keck of RBS for the Saturday event.
Mardi Grass and the silent auction is held on Saturday, March 1st at 5:30 pm. The local blues favorite The Buddy Emmer Band begins at 6:30 pm. Harmonist, singer and song author will have fun with a mix of retro and Modern blues and soul for dancing from 7: 30-9: 30 h.
The silent auction Fund will benefit from the Reno Blues Society Non -profit Music Program Program and the El Wiegand Education Center at the Museum. Among the auction table items will be ($ 1500) Palisades Tahoe 2025-2026 unlimited seasonal pass, ($ 200) Peppermill Casino Wide certificate, ($ 200) Total wine and more tastings for 20, guitar guitar, gift certificates Great Basin Brewing Co, other local restaurants, traders of Retail, artists and more!
Tickets are available from Eventbrite through the Reno Blues Society National Museum website for $ 40 in advance and $ 45 on the show. Reno Blues Society and members of the National Museum of Automobile Museum receive a $ 10 discount for advance tickets. Admission includes access to museum displays worth $ 15. Different appetizers will be available from Mary’s Minis for $ 15. The festive and colorful clothing is encouraged and the attendees will be endowed with the “Mardi Gras” beads at the door. This event recently received significant sponsorship from New York to help with the purposes of the benefit.
