Nathan Jones recognizes the “most difficult test” for Charlton in Birmingham City – OneFootball – English

Charlton’s athletic chief Nathan Jones believes that Addix’s next match against Birmingham City in St. Andrew will be their most difficult test in the league.

Charlton’s renewable side will visit Birmingham’s home place for the first time in four and a half years this Saturday.

Although both sides are in the promotion race, Chris Davis’s team is better placed by sitting at the top of the table in League 1 and holding a 16-point lead over Addicks, heading for the game.

Assessing the challenges that are in front of them, Charlton Jones manager insisted that this would be the most difficult test and the difficult place to visit.

“They are the top of the league, so they are the best country in the league and this will be the most difficult game.”

However, Charlton’s boss has his own team shape to boast and play the prospect of additional pressure.

“We know it’s a wonderful country and it’s a difficult game, but we’re in good shape, so we’re going there for another game.

“This is a game where anyone who wins the game gets three points, if it’s a tie, you get a point and it’s literal.

“We don’t get more points than three to win Birmingham and we don’t get more to draw with them.

“So it’s just another game, it’s a difficult game, but every game at this level is difficult.

“It’s just different difficult.”

The last meeting between the two countries this season in the valley ended with a 1-0 win for Charlton.
