Scotsdale – The auction of Scottsdale Barret-Jackson in 2025 captivated an audience of enthusiastic participants and celebrities from 18 to 26 January. Among the highlights were the historic cars in Indianapolis 500, which left those present in awe.

1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Indy Pace Car

This Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds car from 1972 is powered by a 455CI matching number connected to a 3-speed automatic transmission. This example was a collaboration between Hurst and the Olds Boil for Indianapolis 500 of 1972. It has been stored in a heated garage over the last 10 years and, in addition to repainting, remains in the original state. The owner’s manuals, brochures and receipts are included in the sale

1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy Pace Car

This Chevrolet Corvette Corvette Indy Indy Pace Car Silver Edition is powered by an 8-cylinder L82 350CI engine, supported by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The radiator and the water pump have been replaced. It has functional windows, door locks, antenna and an 8-point player on the tape. The seller states that the clock and tachometer are not functioning. Decales are never installed. 9 836 miles (the title reads released).

This Chevrolet Corvette Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car Edition is a car No. 146 of 234 coupes manufactured for the model year. Under the hood is a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, which makes 436 hp, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and 3.42 with limited rear axle sliding. It is equipped with a Z51 performance package, four -wheel disc brakes, independent four -wheel suspension with transverse composite springs, speed -sensitive amplifier and two -model exhaust system. This example is completed in black with official graphics of Indy 500, Kloisonne Badges, Z06 Rear Spoiler and forged chrome wheels fitted with Michelin tires. In addition, there are xenon projector headlamps, toned sunlight and a movable roof panel. The interior has a two -tone titanium leather upholstery with Indy 500 Seat embroidery. This example is equipped with the 3LT preferred equipment group, including a heated 6-way adjustable bucket seats, Bose 7-Seaker audio system , a package of memory, universal home remote and audio controls of the steering wheel. The standard C6 Corvette equipment includes airbags, a steering column of slope and power accessories. The interior of the console armrest is signed and numbered by Brazilian racing driver Emerson Fitipaldi. The sale includes original books, guides and windows sticker.
