Winston-Salem police said he was responding to multiple crashes due to the weather.
Forsyth County, NC-Actalization: Winston-Salem’s police said that by 11:25, the crashes of I-40 on 421 were cleared and the roads were open again.
There were no big injuries. About 10 cars and tractor tractor were involved in the crashes.
Police said the roads are still smooth and drivers should drive with caution.
Winston-Salem police responded to multiple I-40 injuries in the US 421 between Stratford Road and Peters Creek Parkway on Thursday morning.
They said this area is the most covered area where many crashes have blocked several strips.
The delays in the area is expected due to the blocking of several lanes.
The department said that due to the high volume of call, the response times for non -fence and self -damage damage only for calls would be delayed, as we prioritize disasters with injuries and emergency calls.
