Madison, wis. (WMTV) – At least three flights in and outside the Dane County Regional Airport are canceled on Thursday after a deadly clash on the aircraft on Wednesday night.
The canceled flights are either departed to or arriving from Ronald Reagan Washington, where the crash happened in Washington, DC canceled flights include two MSN departments to and one arrival from DCA.
It is unclear whether additional flights will be affected.
DCA closed all the flights outside and came out shortly after the Black Hawk military helicopter collided with the American Eagle Flight 53-42 around 21:00 Wednesday. It is expected to remain closed until at least 10am on Thursday.
The flight wore 60 passengers and four crew members. There were three people in the helicopter. The first responses have drawn at least 30 bodies from the Potomak River, where both planes are now.
Shortly before 7 o’clock in the morning, search missions moved from rescue to recovery, as the authorities no longer believe there are survivors.
