Charleston, SC (AP)-Dean Dean and Karman Gregory each of them scored 16 points in the victory of South Carolina 79-69 over Charleston South on Saturday.

Dean had six fights for the Spartans (6-23, 2-12 Big South Conference). Gregory added five thefts. Brit Harris had 15 points and fired 5 out of 10 of the pitch and 5 for 7 of the line. The victory clicked a losing series of 11 games for the Spartans.
