Mochinut in Northwest Renault has been closed on Friday after failing to conduct a health inspection on Thursday, and on Tuesday the owner commented on the closure.
The inspection has found violations, including employees who are not properly washed hands or equipment and fail to change the gloves, as well as access to hand wash sinks are blocked.
It has also been found that the refrigerated ingredients are not marked with dates.
These problems can lead to a disease carried with food.
Instagram Mochinut posted last week that they were closed due to repairs in their kitchen, but did not mention a health inspection.
When it was reached for a comment by 2 News Nevada, Mochinut said they were taking the issue very seriously and was committed to providing high quality food and a safe nutrition environment.
They said that the health department found that they were “a few minor questions involving” things we have neglected. “
“We acknowledge these concerns and work closely with Washo County Health Officers to address and resolve them as quickly as possible,” Mochinut says in his statement to 2 news Nevada. “To ensure full compliance, we have already applied additional sanitary procedures and improved staff training.”
The owner of Mochinut Reno said they were expecting them to follow all the necessary measures soon and expect to reopen in the near future.
