Midtown Reno urges residents to join their spring cleaning series, an initiative aimed at maintaining the area of life and welcoming. In collaboration with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB), the series starts on March 15 from 9am to 11am in Stella Coffee Co., located at 701 S. Virginia St.
Volunteers participating in the March event will receive a special bonus from Stella Coffee Co., which offers free cold lime with 16 ounces, drip coffee or ice tea, along with a 20% discount on their entire purchase, including food, drinks and beans coffee.
The cleaning series continues with events scheduled for April 12 at a place, which will be determined and May 4 from 13:00 to 15:00, meeting at Living Stones Church.
The organizers said, “Midtown Reno is thriving because of the people who care – and that includes you!” They encourage participants to bring friends and enjoy the opportunity to make a change, to meet neighbors and to support efforts for sustainability.
KTMB works to reduce waste and protect the local environment, which makes these cleansing a great way to connect with the community while making a visible impact. No registration is required; Participants are encouraged simply to show up and participate.
