Michelle’s Cancer Resources Center offers scholarships for the cancer – press -affected company

The Michelle Place Cancer, based in Temecula, offers seven educational acts for cancer -affected people.

Students living in Riverside County, San Bernardino County and North San Diego County are eligible and applications are open until March 15.

Community volunteer Committee will evaluate the applications and the awards will be announced on April 15, according to a news message.

The following scholarships are available.

• Patricia Derow’s scholarship is a $ 2,000 award sponsored by the Temukula Valley Chamber to support Temecula residents who are a parent who has died of cancer and needs educational financial assistance.

• The Michelle’s Place Scholarship – North County San Diego is a $ 1,000 scholarship for people in North San Diego, affected by cancer and seeks financial assistance for educational activities.

• The Michelle’s Place Scholarship – Riverside/San Bernardino Countiies is a $ 1,000 scholarship awarded to Riverside County or San Bernardino County, affected by cancer and need educational financial support.

• The scholarship of Spirit of Life Shanen Skinner-Pearson is a $ 1,000 scholarship awarded to people affected by breast cancer who have used their experience to inspire others and live a more fulfilling life.

• The ovarian cancer scholarship in team of Charlotte, sponsored by Charlotflin and her family and friends, is a scholarship of 2000 dollars available to people in Riverside County who were personally affected by ovarian cancer or have a family member affected From it.

• Bill Katie’s scholarship, sponsored by Pam Pilcher and Jennifer Katie, is a $ 1,000 scholarship to help Riverside residents affected by cancer that require financial assistance for their educational purposes.

• Barbara’s scholarships, Brian Matskin, in memory of Barbara Brian Matskin, is a $ 1,000 scholarship for North San Diego residents affected by cancer and needs financial assistance for their education.

The Michelle Cancer Resources Center is a non -profit Cancer Resource Center serving County San Bernardino, Riverside County, North San Diego County and the surrounding regions. It was founded in 2001 as a center for breast cancer resources and expanded in 2018 to offer support to people affected by any type of cancer.

Michelle’s place offers free educational programs, emotional support, wellness services, comfort and practical help to help improve the quality of life of those who face cancer. The organization serves approximately 4,000 cancer patients and provides more than 14,000 programs and resources without cost a year, the statement said.
