Michael Ray Caps, 60 – Port City every day

Michael Ray Caps (Wilmington Funeral & Cremation)

Wilmington – Michael Ray Caps, 60 from Wilmington, North Carolina, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Michael, more known than everyone like Uncle Mike, was born on August 7, 1964 by the late Reverend Larry Ronald Caps, Senior and Rebecca Barnes Caps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by death by his wife Catherine Anne Caps.

Uncle Mike is a true legend and has lived his life full gas, both in spirit and in his motorcycle. His contagious laughter and blossoms made every moment spent with him an adventure.

Uncle Mike never met a stranger and had a way to make everyone feel like an old friend within minutes of meeting him. He was the kind of person who could fix everything – sometimes with the right tools, and sometimes with a little engineering “put”, but somehow it always works. He had a gift to see the potential where others saw the junk, because for him one person’s junk was always another person’s treasure.

Although it was difficult to hear, he never missed a rhythm when it was about sharing laughter, love and unforgettable stories. Everyone who knew Uncle Mike has a fairy tale to tell the way he made life more consumed, just as he is in him. He was not just the life of the party – he was the party!

He leaves behind the family, which adores him: his daughter, Chris Caps and his son Dylan Caps and his wife Nadia. He was the proud grandfather of Aidyn, Katie, Rion and Camila Caps, who will continue their adventure spirit and mischief skill. In addition, his inheritance lives through his siblings, Ronnie Caps, Loa Kaps, Sean Caps and Brittany Osgood; And many nephews, nephews and countless friends who loved him.

Although he may have ridden his last riding here on earth, we know that he spins a motor to the great beyond, with the wind in the hair, the grinning of the face and someone else in his pocket. Take a ride for free, Uncle Mike – you’ll never be forgotten.

The holiday of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Living Word Full Eshospel Fellowship, 1029 George II Highway, Winnabow, NC, 28479.
