Miami Deid College, offering free preparation for tax February 4 – April 15 – Miami Dade College

Miami, February 3, 2025 – Miami Deid College (MDC) will offer again Free tax preparation services to persons who have won $ 57,000 or less as part of Internal Revenue Assistance Program (Vita). Services are available February 4 – April 15 at six MDC campuses throughout the county.

The original documents are required to have taxes prepared through the VITA program and to include: Photos identification; Social Security Card or ITIN for taxpayers, spouses and addicts; date of birth for primary, secondary and tax return dependent; Wage and profit report (s) W2, W2G, 1099R; Mortgage information on interest and property tax and bank statements, among others. In order to submit taxes electronically on a married joint tax return, both spouses must be present in order to sign the necessary forms. The Vita program comes in the Wolfson campus and is later expanded to other campuses. Students are trained to prepare free individual declarations of income tax for fellow students, their families and the general public. They are controlled by professors and experienced coordinators by Miguel B.
