Mexicano opens months after the devastating fire in the kitchen – the Arizona family

Phoenix (Azfamily) – Mexicano, a popular Phoenix restaurant, opened its doors again after a destructive kitchen fire five months ago.

Chef founder Joey Maggiore said the fire caused a lot of damage to smoke and then damage from the water from the crews that expose the flames. Due to all the damage, they had to completely repeat all the furniture and walls.

“Something happened and the ashes walked on the roof and then it just ignited,” said chef Joey. “It was over $ 3 million in damage.”

The restaurant presented a fresh look with an open concept with lush greenery and a covered patio. The big resumption was held on January 31st.

“We took the time to really look at the menu. We kept 90% of all the samples and things that people love, “said chef Joey.

The new menu accents include stuffed zucchini for horizon, fried Quesadilla Biria Taco and Ribee Taco.

There will also be new guest experiences, including a margarita bar and a fresh tortillary station. Popular dishes include Birria Tacos, Bira Bao Bun and Churros.

Visit Mexicano during Happy Hour for deals for margarita, beer and sangria. You can also get taco for $ 3.50 each and other special offers, including Taco and Mini Chimis salad with disconns.

“For us we will currently focus on Mexicano [and] Italiano and the new brand we are working on, which will come out next week, “said chef Joey.
