Men accused of firearms crimes in Birmingham after police “pursuit of the legs” – Birmingham live

Two men have been charged with weapons crimes after stopping Birmingham “after pursuit of their feet.”

The men were arrested on Lander Street in Salts on Friday (February 21st) after being stopped by officers.

A pair of machete, a shotgun shot and a small amount of alleged class B drugs were seized in the area.

Adnan Hayer and Dian Mahmoud were taken in guard and questioned by police.

Both have been accused of a series of weapons crimes.

They are left in custody and must appear in the Birmingham Magistrate Court on Saturday (February 22).

West Midlands spokesman said: “Two men have been charged with firearms crimes after chasing Birmingham’s feet yesterday.

“Adnan Hayer, 21 years old from Nansen Road, Saltli has been charged with firearms crimes.

“He is also accused of possessing an article and driving blade while disqualified and without insurance.

“Dian Mahmoud, 19 years old from Lander Street to Saltli, is accused of possessing a firearm and possessing an article on a blade.”

The statement continued: “Both were left in custody to appear in the Birmingham Magistrate Court today (February 22).

“This comes after the officers seized a rifle, machete and drug B drug after chasing their feet in Washwood Heath yesterday (February 21).”

The arrests were part of the Target operation, the Force West Midlands initiative aimed at serious and organized crime.
