Mayor Edwards announces the opening of the satellite office “Easy to Access” in North Baton Rouge-Advocate

By doing good in one of his promises to the campaign, the mayor of Eastern Baton Rouge opens a new, satellite mayor’s office in North Baton Rouge to increase the access of the northern residents of the city to the mayor.

A second office at North Baton Rouge was an idea that the mayor often mentions along the campaign path in 2024.

Opening on Wednesday, the office is located on 3773 Harding Blvd., in the same complex as the mayor for internal security and preparation for emergencies.

Edwards said that the facility would provide a way for voters to have access to all the same services as the City Hall without having to travel to the center of Baton Rouge.

“This will help people not have to end up in the city center if they have a problem or have to deal with things,” he said. “With this facility here and this beautiful building, they will have a place to go to it is easy for access and will be open to them to deal with everything – from complaints to ideas or thoughts or something they need. ”
