While complaints from the All-Star Snubs are going, Mark Kuban’s NBA Gonly NBA was not as directed as Devin Booker’s accusation that it was “fun, drama, political league”, but it is a peck. It probably does not increase to a fine level. And not because the Cubans, the first in the history of the league in fines, is simply the owner of a minority these days.
You can still break down even if you are no longer calling the frames, although it probably takes all the fun from it.
Anyway, Kuban was at least half when he was twisting that she was “just crazy”, that neither Luka Doncic nor Kiri Irving made the All-Star team, excluding MAVS in the process.
The facts are that Luke does not actually have a complaint. He has only played 22 games because of a bad calf and it is doubtful whether he will return before the match on the weekend of Valentine’s Day.
Then again, if he would just walk through his All-Star appearance, as usual, it might be good to go now.
But Cyri is stiff as all-Star? Who counted the votes of the coaches?
Networks?
The old Kiri team can be justified, who holds an insult after seeing how to play after the deal with the deadline two years ago. He not only helped MAVS at the NBA finals last season, but he has been a citizen of the model since he expelled his way from Brooklyn. It makes it even worse for the networks, given how the trade worked on their side.
Brooklyn received Dorian Fini-Smith, Spencer Dinuidi, two choices from the second round and the first in 2029. The networks can still make something of all seconds that have accumulated in deals involving these directors. It seems that all they have is d’Angelo Russian.
D-Lo is a nice player, but he is not a hall of fame.
He explains what Kiri meant when he asked him about the deal after scoring 25 points in the MAVS 106-98 victory over Oklahoma City a few weeks ago.
“The best business in business, dear,” he told reporters. “We have won this trade.
“I was bad goods.”
Some of us may have implied the last point two years ago and for a good reason. Kiri’s reputation had taken a big blow to and off the court. But in the culture created and fed by Nico Harrison and Jason Kid, he not only plays at the star level, he is an undeniable leader of MAVS.
Despite the convex disc in his back, Kiri kept the Mavans together not only in the absence of onions, but also those created by injuries to at least half the rotation.
You would think that a person who maintains the ruling champions of the Western Sailing Conference with exceptional numbers will take advantage of the doubts with the coaches.
Not so much, it turns out.
Before we continue, here’s how it works: after fans, media and players vote for two Backcourt players and three frontcourt, with fans counting 50%and players and media dividing the other half, the main coaches choose seven reserve.
To the west, they went with Anthony Edwards and James Harden, the only Guards, and Anthony Davis, Jaren Jackson, Jrachi, Victor Wangnyama, Alfer Segun and Jalen Williams. Since it is difficult to develop so many great players among so few places, the coaches give extra weight to players from good teams.
That is why the deeper West has only two teams with multiple representatives (Oklahoma City and Lakers), while 75% of the list to the east comes from Cleveland, Boston, Milwaukee and Knicks.
Team Record explains why Hornets Lamelo Ball, who led all the fans’ vote, did not make the team, even though he was the fourth leading goal scorer of the League. Domantas Sabonis (21.0 points, 14.6 rebounds, 6.5 assists) again faced because he plays for kings. It is the same with Tyrese Maxey from South Garland in Philadelphia, Trae Young in Atlanta and Booker in Phoenix.
Young’s defense rating like Turntile does not help either.
There are no arguments here with most elections in the West. But there was still a way to get Kiri.
For one thing, the number of Harden (21.7 points, 8.4 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 35.3% of 3s, 4,6 rpm, 3.9 profits) are not as good as in general in Irving (24.2 points, 4.9 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 41.9% by 3S, 2.3 turnover, 4.1 profit shares) entering the game on Friday. The difference in the minds of the coaches, obviously, is that the recording of the clippers is better, so Harden gets a nod.
Not a good reason is, but better than to give a Thunder a second representative.
Williams is a good player, but OKC has very good players. After Chet Holmgren returns, he will have his second best. This should tell you where the coaches are wrong when choosing the reserves.
Giving the third best OKC player to his second place in the All-Star team, denying MAVS and their second best player looks like a bad mathematics.
Especially given that MAVS is 3-1 against The Thunder this season.
For the record: This is not the first time Mavs washed like All-Stars. It happened all the time in the 1980s, 90s and last decade. First, Dirk Novitski almost once changed Mavs’ perception to better, after which Luke climbed where he stopped. It is time for everyone to realize that MAVS is no longer a team with one horse.
