Mavericks Planted Missiles in the Dallas debut of Anthony Davis, 116-105 – Sports Illustrated

Dallas Maverix has returned home for the first time since sending Megastar Luka Doncic to Los Angeles Lakers before the deadline for trading. It was a variable crowd as MAVS fans were outside the center of American Airlines hours before the match protested against trade.

Houston’s divisional and state rival rockets will be the opponents of this match, entering the game of five games a losing series. Anthony Davis made his Mavericks debut in this game, so Dallas was only missing from Derek Liveli II, Dwight Powell and Caleb Martin, while Houston was without beginner Jabari Smith, Jr.

Alperin Segun was dynamite in the second half, scoring 25 of its 30 points in the last 24 minutes. He was followed by Jalen Green (24 points, 6 assists) and Amin Thompson (20 points, 7 rebounds), the only other double digit missiles.

It was the first of the four direct home games for MAVS before the All-Star break. They will host the kings Sacramento on Monday.
