D -Ja Mary Ruth Saints Kennedy, 90 -year -old, from Thomasville, died on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Piedmont Crossing Pretirement Community.

She was a former resident of Homestead Hills, Winston-Salem.

Ruth was born on December 12, 1934 in the late Daniel Washington Sents and Myrtle Beatrice Kennedy St. in Davidson County. She withdrew from Valspar Chemical at High Point. Ruth was a member of Emanuel’s Reformation Church in Thomasville and has visited the Baptist Church of Hilside Park in recent years.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded by her husband’s death at 62, Dale Bowers Kennedy on June 24, 2022, whom he married on March 26, 1960; her brother Daniel Harvey Saints; And her sister Evelyn St. Black.

Her daughter Vicky Mabe and the fiancé Steve Hanner from Thomasville survived; Her son Daniel Kennedy and wife Melanie of Thomasville; Four beloved granddaughters, Emily Mabe, Kristen Mabe, Rachel Kennedy Woodel and husband Austin and Abigail Kennedy; son -in -law, Gary Barton Kennedy of Thomasville; And a very extended family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 11:00 in the Emanuel Reformation Church in Thomasville with the Reverend Ricky Payne. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be no official visit. Memorials can be given to the Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Wait Lexington, NC 27292 or the Huntington Disease Society, 505 Eighth Avenue.
