Maricopa County Colleges host polling stations, drop-off ballots at multiple facilities – Daily Independent

Anyone looking for a place to vote can go to polling stations at Maricopa County Colleges.

The college system offers walk-in and ballot drop-off locations at several of its locations.

“MCCCD is proud to support the electoral process by opening our colleges to Maricopa County voters,” Deanna Villanueva-Saucedo, MCCCD’s associate vice chancellor of the Center for Excellence in Inclusive Democracy, said in a news release. “This effort is part of MCCCD’s mission to engage the community and promote civic engagement among our students and community members.”

In-person voting and balloting will continue until November 5 in locations, with some locations closed, particularly on Sunday, November 3. Here is a list of locations.

In-person ballots are available, but all of the following are closed on November 3rd:

  • Chandler-Gilbert Community College, 2626 E. Pecos Road, Chandler
  • Glendale Community College Main, 6000 W. Olive Ave., Glendale
  • Mesa Community College, 1833 W. Southern Ave., Mesa
  • Mesa Community College Red Mountain Campus, 7110 E. McKellips Road, Mesa
  • Paradise Valley Community College, 18401 N. 32nd St., Phoenix
  • Scottsdale Community College, 9000 E. Chaparral Road, Scottsdale
  • South Mountain Community College, 7050 S. 24th St., Phoenix

Glendale Community College North, 5727 W. Happy Valley Road in Glendale, will be closed Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.

Estrella Mountain Community College, 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale, has a drop-off location and will begin in-person voting Nov. 4 through Nov. 5.

Rio Salado College, 2323 W. 14th St. in Tempe, has a gathering place that will be open through November 5th with closures on November 2nd and November 3rd.
