A man was killed after a gunman opened fire at a house party in San Bernardino County on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as Tamariah Johnson, 23, of Victorville, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to reports of shots fired at a home on Coalinga Road early Saturday morning around 12:47 a.m.
Authorities spoke with the partygoers and learned that Johnson had been shot and transported to the hospital by friends before officers arrived at the home.
The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. The circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting remain unclear. The suspect remains at large, authorities said.
The Sheriff’s Department’s Special Investigations Unit – Homicide Unit also responded and took over the investigation. The suspect has not been identified and is at large.
