Boise has a lot of great music artists come and go. We love it when great artists come to Boise and perform for everyone. There have been many great artists who have announced concerts coming here as well. We have upcoming shows from The Driver Era and The Wrecks in 2025 that we couldn’t be more excited about. But what happens when an artist stops coming to Boise?
Boise was devastated that Sabrina Carpenter would not be returning this year after playing in Boise for her last tour, but she’s not the only artist to have made the decision.

We still can’t believe this happened.

Country singer Kelsea Ballerini was here not too long ago on tour and played an incredible summer show at the Idaho Botanical Garden. Everyone was over the moon that she was coming to Boise and people were lining up to be in the front row of the concert hours before it even started. There was a lot of excitement about her coming to Boise and the concert was amazing, but there was one small bump during the show.
People were so excited to see Kelsea Ballerini that they seemed to forget proper concert etiquette, including that it’s not a good idea to throw things on stage. While it would definitely be fun to exchange bracelets with Kelsea Ballerini, it’s also important to remember that she’s human too, and it’s not okay to throw things at her.
Unfortunately this morning Kelsea announced her latest tour and Boise was not included in the stops. After the accident, it doesn’t look like she’s coming back, so going forward we need to remember that music artists are welcome here to continue touring in Boise.
