Maca’s milk that will open in the area of Santa Fe – the hospital’s hospitality

Maca’s milk, cocktail bar and a pharmacist restaurant will open this spring in the heart of the Railyard area in Santa Fe, NM, the company said on Thursday.

The company said the location of 418 Montezuma Ave. is adjacent to Jean Cott’s cinema and brutal books and will serve as an additional place to collect the community.

The bar and space for 100 event will cause the experience of stumbling into a modern traveler tavern, supporters said.

The name draws inspiration from the medieval medicine “Milk Milk”, which is a special prepared drink, known for both its healing properties and for the remarkable “poppy dreams” it causes.

“When we started on the way to open Maca’s milk, we had no idea where the creative process would take us,” said al -Lafleur, milk of the Maka Creative Director. “Our goal was to serve as a continuation of the wonderful community collection places that the Railyard neighborhood has made over the years and I think we have worshiped this vision. The inspiration behind the project was that guests could immediately retreat from the train and in this rich world of storytelling with Beastly Books, Jean Cocteau cinema and now Maca’s milk. “

The milk of the poppy space of 1200 square feet, including space for 55 years, is equipped with personalized steel and hand -carved wooden furniture, tiles, stone and marble cladding, custom artwork and strange artists. The adjacent outdoor garden will include an additional 30 seats and will be overlooking the Sky railway train.

Historical influences shine in the milk of the poppy beverage program and the menu will offer a limited choice of seasonal dishes.

“Guided by the passion of our team to history, the milk of the poppy menu is designed to transport guests over time,” Lafleur said. “Our cocktails attract a reference from the medieval era to the present day, including ancient techniques, scents and ingredients to create something really special.”

Maca’s milk will be in the same Adobe building from 1910 as John Coct’s cinema and brutal books. He once served as storage of regional products brought to the city through the railway line.

“Our northern star is always,” How can we provide this incredible condition – and those who come to visit it – with something different and unique, where they can escape from reality for a moment and be immersed in art? “This project reflects this,” Lafler said.
