Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving: NBA Public Betting Picks to Note – DraftKings

Julian Edlow shares the most betting tips for NBA players at DraftKings sportsbook for October 31st with analysis.

This is a new article here on the DK Network to hopefully give bettors a behind-the-book look at the hottest NBA player bets of the night by ticket count. It shows which props bettors are most interested in for this set of games, and I’ll try to offer an analysis of why (or an analysis of why you should be wary). Please keep in mind that NBA betting is an ever-changing market and that news of injuries closer to the top could always take one of those players off the board or change other props that become more serious bets near the top.

After going 5-0 on Tuesday, the public continues to fall in love with these props, bringing it back 4-1 on Wednesday!

Kyrie Irving OVER 23.5 points (-125)

Kyrie has been among the most-bet players in each of his last three games and has been in the money for bettors each time, averaging 26.7 points over that span. Despite his growing support, bettors are going straight back to Kyrie to top his point guard as the Rockets host.

Luke Doncic OVER 2.5 3-pointers (-160)

This is interesting as Doncic’s prop almost always opens at 3.5 for his threes. After making a total of nine 3-pointers in his first two games, Doncic has made just one from downtown in each of his last two games. This reduced the number and punters benefited. The prop is now back to its usual number of 3.5.

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 28.5 points (-125)

Even though the Bucks are struggling as a team, Giannis is still averaging 28.8 points through four games. He’s 2-2 for his point, but bettors are backing him to have a big night as the favorite on the road in Memphis.

Ja Morant OVER 20.5 points (-110)

Morant has struggled over the past two games, scoring 16 and 14 points on a combined 9-of-28 shooting. That gives us a lower number on his fulcrum tonight and bettors are betting on a rebound. The Grizzlies ran a strong offense while the Bucks were one of the worst defenses in the NBA.

Luka Doncic OVER 8.5 rebounds (-120)

Doncic is averaging 9.3 rebounds per game, and the only time he fell short of that number in four games was when he pulled down eight boards against Minnesota. Bettors expect Doncic to continue to hit the ball early and expect a good pace against Houston.
