New York (AP), the man accused of fatal shooting by United State Executive Director in New York and the leading authorities of a five-day Manhanta, is scheduled to be in court for the first time after his December consent on charges of state murder and terror.
The 26 -year -old Luigi Mangione is ready for hearing at the Manhattan State Court. MANGIEN prosecutors and lawyers are expected to provide updates on the state of the case and Judge Gregory Caro may set deadlines for preliminary documentation and possibly even a trial date.
Magione has been admitted to not guilty of many murder accusations, including murder such as terrorism, in the murder of Brian Thompson on December 4 in front of a hotel in Manhattan in Midtown. The CEO was planted and shot on a sidewalk while going to a conference on investors.
Magyone is also facing federal accusations that could be able to bring the possibility of death penalty. He was kept in a federal prison in Brooklyn, along with several other high-profile defendants, including Sean Didi Combs and Sam Bankman-Purzhen.
Prosecutors said the two cases would continue on parallel runs, with state charges expected to go to a lawsuit first. The maximum sentence for state accusations is a prison life without conditional release. Hearing on February 24 in Pennsylvania on charges of possessing an unlicensed firearm, counterfeiting and providing false police identification.
In a statement posted on a website about his legal protection, Manjah said: “I am overwhelmed by – and grateful for – all who wrote me to share my stories and to express my support. Powerfully, this support exceeded political, racial and even class units. “
Markone was arrested in Pennsylvania McDonald’s on December 9th. He also carried a notebook, expressing hostility to health insurance and especially wealthy leaders, authorities said.
Defense lawyer Karen Friedman Agnifilo argued in his contract on December 23 that the “warring jurisdictions” had turned Manyone into a “human ball for ping pong”.
She has accused New York Mayor Eric Adams and other government officials of arranging the jurors’ pool by returning Magione to Manhattan to a choreographic performance involving highly armed officers who accompanied him at a helicopter port.
Friedman Agnifilo separated Adams’ commentary to a local television station that he wanted to be there to look “him in the eye and to say,” You did this terrorist act in my city. “
