LUBBOCK police asking for public help with deadly shooting – KCBD

Lubbock, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crime Department asks the public’s help for information on firing in East Lubok, which left a man dead.

The police responded to a report on shots fired at 1:02 in the 1900 block on East Baylor Street on February 2.

After arriving, officers located on 29-year-old Robert Johnson in a residence with numerous firearms. Johnson was declared died in place. Additional employees responded to the scene to help maintain security.

No arrests were made. The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call a criminal line on 806-741-1000. Callers may be entitled to a prize of up to $ 5,000 for information leading to identification and arrest. Callers can remain anonymous
