Baton Rouge – LSU’s men’s basketball faced one of its most difficult opponents on Saturday when # 2 Florida came to town. The tigers had momentum with their victory in two games, but they had to play harder than ever to defeat Gators.
The first half started roughly for the tigers, as they came down with so much 14 in the first half. However, the tigers gathered in one of the biggest runways they had throughout the season.
LSU went to 22-2 points to finish the first half with 37-31 leads of the half. The mileage was emphasized by freshman Robert Miller III, who had 12 points from the first half.
At the beginning of the second half, LSU managed to maintain its lead. It was while Florida led by about 12 minutes to play.
The tigers did not give up and remained in the range all the time, but in the end they fell with the end result of 79-65 LSU drops to 14-13 during the season and 3-11 in SEC PLAY.
