The LSU football program has turned up the heat on the recruiting trail as of late as they push full steam ahead in the final weeks before the recruiting dead period. The Tigers have handed out dozens of offers to elite recruits in the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes building their recruiting boards. Tigers officials have also traveled around the country visiting elite recruits as they look to get up to speed with the top recruits.
The best news, however, comes when LSU is able to get recruits to visit Baton Rouge for the weekend. This weekend, LSU was able to get IMG Academy teammates Jake Kreul and Breck Kolojay on campus for a visit.
Jake Kreul is one of the most elite running backs in the country, with almost every school clamoring to sign him into their program. ON3 Industry recruits have Kreul ranked as the 59th best player in the country, the 8th ranked Edge and the 6th ranked player from Florida. Kreul brings a lot of speed off the edge, and after some excellent performances in recruiting camps, he has seen a flood of scholarship offers.
His high school teammate Breck Kolojai, who is also on campus this weekend, is a massive target for LSU and schools around the country as well. Kolojay is ranked by ON3 Industry Recruiting as the 244th best player in the country, the 18th best interior offensive lineman and the 39th ranked player from Florida.
The Tigers just lost four of their five starting offensive linemen to the NFL draft and could lose transfers Josh Thompson and Braelin Moore next season, putting LSU in a position to once again have to reload on the line. The LSU football team will bring in another big class on the offensive line and Kolodjai will be a name to watch in the coming months.
