The crash happened at the intersection of Planck Road and Harding Boulevard shortly after 3:30 on Tuesday. Witnesses said there was a large police presence around the site of the crash and that three people were taken to the hospital afterwards.

LSP confirmed later on Tuesday morning that 53-year-old Belinda Murphy, a captain out of duty, released a red light at the intersection and collided with a Brpd unit and a third vehicle.
