Louis Irving and Emil Nado won World Cup medals in Quebec – Canadian Sport Scene

The Canadian Olympic bronze medalist Lewis Irving of Quebec City, Quebec and Emil Nado from Purvat, Quebec won medals for Canada over the weekend in the World Ride Air Ride Cup competitions in Lak-Boport, Quebec. Irving won a silver medal on Saturday, and Irving won a bronze medal on Sunday.

On Saturday, Irving was second with 102.5 points. Guangpu Qi from China won the gold medal with a result of 124 points. Christopher Lilis of the United States won the bronze medal with a result of 85.4 points. Irving reached the podium with 20.2 points in front of Noah Roth from the United States, which had a fourth place with 80.3 points.

On Sunday, Nado had a third place with 95.8 points. Qi won the gold medal with 110.56 points. Cindy Wang from China won the silver medal with 105.88 points. The Nado reached the podium with 0.96 points in front of Singen Li from China, which finished fourth with 95.02 points.

For Irving, it was an eighth World Cup medal. There are two silver and six bronze medals. For the nad, it was the third World Cup medal. He previously won bronze in Almaty, Kazakhstan on March 19, 2023, and bronze in Lak-Boop on February 10, 2024.

In the World Cup standings in the Men Air Ride is sixth with 116 points, and Irving is in ninth place with 97 points. QI leads with 245 points.

Irving won the bronze medal in the mixed team running at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The medals for Irving and Nado will give them confidence as they prepare for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan/Cortina D’Ampezzo.
