Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – A full fitness room at St. Augustine School became cheered when Lizett Gutierrez was declared a teacher of the month on Wednesday, January 29.
Gutierrez, a teacher for 27 years at the school, was elected after receiving several nominations for her dedication to the students. She also serves as a librarian of the school.
Gutierrez is known for inspiring her students and helping them to see their potential. “To become more responsible not only to themselves but also to the community. Return to the community and be good citizens, good people, “Gutierrez says in his accepting speech.
The KGNS Teacher’s program of the month, sponsored by Joey Tellez’s law firm, awarded Gutierrez $ 250 gift card, a basket of extras and a t -shirt and a T -shirt.
