President Trump is in Las Vegas on Saturday after Vihar for the first few days in the oval office filled with executive orders and traveling around the country as his agenda is formed in Washington.
“I really go to Nevada to thank them for voting because we won Nevada predominantly and this is usually a democratic vote,” the president said on Tuesday before a Silver state visit, which threw blue in November for the first time after two decades.
On Friday, the president also visited Ascheville, North Carolina and Los Angeles to investigate major damage from hurricane Helen and devastating California wild fires, respectively.
While on his way to North Carolina, Trump has doubled in his calls for efforts to relieve disasters that have to deal with countries, calling the FEMA answer to the hurricane “disappointing”.
In California, Trump enjoyed a friendly greeting with governor Gavin Newo (D) while landing in Golden State after the flames.
Back in Washington on Friday, the Senate voted to confirm the president’s election to lead the Ministry of Defense Pete Heget. All Democrats and three Republicans, including former Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell (Kiev), have opposed this move. Vice President Vance had to vote in order to interrupt a draw 50-50.
The Senate also took a preliminary vote to move forward in Trump’s confirmation nominees, South Dakota Governor Christie Nov (R) to lead the Ministry of Interior Security.
