(5-0) South Carolina Gamecocks are again in Park Park to take (1-2) Milwaukee Panthers in a series of three games over the weekend. This is the first meetings between the two programs.
South Carolina won one of the series on Friday. Jas Waita transfer was the story of the evening, as his big helmet at the bottom of the inning helped Gamecocks regain his lead. It was Woita’s first home at Gamecocks uniform.
Matthew Becker will be at the South Carolina Mound on Saturday afternoon. Becker is 1-0 in the season with nine penalties and there is no refusal. Milwaukee opposes Logan Schufler, who gave up six runs in four workings at work during his lonely start of the year.
Gamecocks vs. Panthers Preview:
– South Carolina is 5-1 against Horizon League, with every match coming against Wright State.
– Junior Ethan Petry is 4th all the time in the list of home runways in the history of Gamecocks (45)
– The two teams continue the series on Saturday afternoon (February 22) at 2 pm and end on Sunday afternoon (February 23) at 1:30 pm.
