Columbia, SC (WBTV) – South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster will deliver a state to the state in 2025 on Wednesday.

Governor McMaster is expected to share the priorities and goals of his administration for 2025 during his eighth state at the state address. Considered in Colombia, the capital of the state, McMaster will turn to the General Assembly in the Houses of the House of South Carolina.

The Republican McMaster, 77, has been governor of South Carolina since 2017, when he took over for former governor Nicky Haley. At that time, President Donald Trump appointed Haley as UN Ambassador during his first term.

McMaster is now the largest governor in the history of South Carolina.
