Live blog: No. 14 Kentucky vs. South Carolina – KSR

Kentucky has hit a slider, losing four of the last five. Today, they have a chance to bounce against the oldest team on SEC. The KSR blog will bring you all the sights and sounds of Rupp Arena as Wildcats No. 14 hosts Gamecocks South Carolina (12:00 ET, ESPN2).

The loss on Tuesday night in Ole Miss dropped in Kentucky to 15-7, 4-5 in SEC game. South Carolina is at the bottom of the SEC ranking, 0-9 at a conference and a total of 10-12. This said Lamont Paris was unbeaten against Kentucky, with Gamecocks winning the last two matches. They are led by sophomore Colin Murray Boyls, a first -round NBA choice, which is average of 15.5 points and 8.8 fights. Although so far South Carolina has been hassle -free at SEC, Gamecocks have fallen into several teams, losing from Auburn by three, Florida from one and Mississipi with five in overtime.

Cats have already received good news when Butler returned to the squad after the absence of three games. How about more good news? Jaxson Robinson is on the floor and is currently warming up in front of the United Kingdom against USC – a sign that it can do so this afternoon.

Bad news? This is his proper firing with a wrist, which is currently glued as he receives shots in Rupp Arena. He hits shots now and moves comfortably, but his first few attempts were obviously tight as he knocked the rust, trying to loose.

We will soon receive an official confirmation from Mark Pope whether he will play or not, but he warms up as a person ready to respond to cats.

Lamont Butler is good to go

Shortly after he was removed from the injury report, Butler was the first cat’s cat player before the match against South Carolina. He preferred his shoulder, but would give him his best shot against Gamecocks after missing three games, last answered Vanderbilt on January 25th.
