Columbia, SC (WIS) – another week, another big game. #2 South Carolina will face #4 Texas on Sunday afternoon in a decisive blow to the top 5.

South Carolina moved to a new gear after their loss against # 1 UCLA in late November. Gamecocks won 17 straight with 8 wins against ranked opponents during the winning series.

In its last match, South Carolina dominated the struggle of the Georgia team 74-42. Gamecocks forced Lady Bulldogs into difficult shots and controlled the boards.

Texas takes an impressive season in itself. Longhorns enter the game on Sunday 23-2, their only losses being against #10 Notre Dame and South Carolina in January. Texas struggles to get the ball, shooting 28% of the pitch and made only one three.
