The free Baton Rouge concert series will return to the full squad of six shows after Mapp Construction and B1bank has been activated as financial supporters of the series, Mayor Edwards’ office said on Friday.
Each of the two sponsors contributed $ 15,000 to live after 5 to provide six show schedule for both spring and autumn. The investment comes at a critical moment for the popular concert series, as budget restrictions have previously reduced the number of performances each season from six to four.

“Mapp Construction and B1bank did not waste time to keep the music alive, ensuring that Baton Rouge’s families can continue to enjoy this hidden tradition in the city center,” Edwards said in a statement.
