Lions Club donates almost 2000 screenings to vision to students from Carson City – KTVN

The students in the school neighborhood of Carson City see more future future thanks to the generosity of the Lion Club.

Dayton Valley and Carson City Lions Club, in support of the early detection of vision problems in children from September 12, 2024, until January 16, 2025, donated nearly 2000 vision screenings for all before Kindergarten, first, third, six Six and ninth grade students across the Carson City city district.

The Carson City school neighborhood says Lions Club is well known for supporting Health Vision through such endeavors as Vision screenings, glasses recycling, and eye care initiatives.

This school year is said to have been the screenings of vision also part of a more national national initiative led by Lionsusa, a Lions International branch, where lions in the United States gather to maintain vision and improve eye health for children and adults.

Further, explaining that the week of January 13-16 is of great importance to the lions around the world, as it happens the same week on their international founder Melvin Jones, who was on January 13, 1879. They say Chicago, who founded the lions before Since a century that has now covered more than 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries.
