Lincoln High, Apalachee Elementary briefly placed under blocking – Tallahassee Democrat

The Lincoln High School, Apalachee Elementary and the Virtual School building in Leon County were blocked at 10:40 Tuesday. The preventive measure was cleared about an hour later.

“We are currently blocking as a precaution as a precautionary measure at the request of local law enforcement authorities. Law enforcement authorities are working on a question in the nearby neighborhood,” Lincoln High administrators told parents and teachers in an email sent around 11:25.

The Talahassi Police Department detained a Pichard Drive suspect in just a few blocks from schools that prompted school sites to block, said a school spokesman in Leon Chris Rooms in front of Talahassi Democrat.

In an online incident, the TPD said the incident began when the officers were sent to a Pichard Drive unit in connection with an internal interference investigation. The victim told employees Laddaris Little “has knocked them down and made past statements threatening to shoot them.”

In the course of the investigation, employees found that the little ones had active orders outside Georgia for breaching probation associated with an aggravated attack and possession of firearms from convicted charges of crime. The officers then made contact with a stone in front of the residence.

“While the officers tried to hold him, he resisted and fled to the House. He quickly barricaded himself,” a TPD spokesman wrote. “Members of the TPD tactical retention and control team were called to the scene to cooperate. At approximately 11:41, small, they went out of the residence and were taken in custody without increasing incidents.”

He faces accusations of violation of probation, an aggravated attack, possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal and resistance without violence.

The lock is different from blocking students, who still follow regular routing of a class schedule, Petli explained.

He said blocking is common and guests are simply not allowed to enter schools during this time and there is an increased security presence on the campus.

“We appreciate our local law enforcement authorities for their reply to ensure that we remain safe. We appreciate our teachers and students for their patience as this has been resolved”, the Lincoln Hi administration sent to the parents who warn them to all Clear.

TPD arrests a barricaded suspect of Pichard Drive

The Talahasi Police Department responds to the 1100 Pichard Drive unit in connection with an internal interference investigation. The victim reported that a male suspect, Laddaris Small, was knocking them down and made past statements threatening to shoot them. During the investigation, it was learned that the little one had an active arrest orders from Bainbridge, Georgia and Thomasville, Georgia for breach of probation associated with an aggravated attack and possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal.

At approximately 10 o’clock in the morning, officers connect with small front door of the residence. As the officers tried to hold him, he resisted and fled to the House. He quickly barricades inside. The members of the TPD tactical retention and control team were called on stage to help. At approximately 11:41, a small one goes out of the residence and was taken in custody without increasing incidents. It has been transported to LCDF.
