Letter: Both sides have abused and abused enforcement powers – San Bernardino Sun County

I agree with your editorial, “The EDICT rule is not what the founders meant.”

When President Obama’s party lost control of the congress, he said “I have a pen and I have a phone” and is largely managed by executive orders until the end of his term. One of these orders was the DACA program.

President Trump signed his share of executive orders, some tried to cancel Obama’s orders with limited success.

At that time, President Biden was elected and signed a bunch of executive orders in his first week, although his party controlled both the Chamber and the Senate, and continued with the executive orders until the end, even during his status as “Patza”.

President, President Trump began his second term by signing a funny number of executive orders, also with his party, controlling the Chamber and the Senate.

And as a retired police sergeant, I was disappointed that Trump was pursuing the defendants on January 6, who attacked police officers from Capitol.

In the meantime, the pandemic has caused Gavin News to declare a state of emergency, and since then he has ruled by executive orders. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is managed by executive orders from the first day regarding homelessness and now does the same with regard to the tragedy of wild fire. Maybe she could betray another one: maintain the tanks that supply fire hydrants full.
