Leon County leaders say they are looking for ways to protect immigrants against the background of pressure, criticism of the latest raids on ice – WCTV

“I want to make sure that on the basis of our value to preserve a diverse community to understand and reach the limit of our legal body and to do absolutely everything we can for those members of the Community,” O’Kefe said. “I think this is the least we can do.”

The President of the Talahassi Community Action Community Community Delila Pierre believes that the city should conduct legal and political research to understand what they can do for the immigrant community.

“If it’s more resources, that’s great,” Pere explained. “If it is a work with schools in Leon County to make sure that the undocumented children are not grabbed by ice, this is great.”
