What started as an investigation into death on Sunday morning is now marked by the third murder of the New Year County County, according to the sheriff of Leon County.

The agency has already arrested a 34-year-old woman Katie Lin Haines and has accused her of second-degree murder.

On Sunday, February 2, around 8am, MPs responded to a call about a dead man on the 8,000 block of Meridale Drive from the Woodville highway.

“When MPs arrived, they found an apparently deceased elderly man,” Lcso wrote in an update on evening cases published on social media. A LCSO spokesman told Democrats investigators to determine that the victim was stabbed in the neck.

Following the investigation, Hannes was arrested on Monday and transported until the detention of Leon County on charges of crime -related murders.

The agency provided little details about the circumstances of the murder and the court records were not immediately available to Haines. A spokesman said the suspect was well aware of the victim.

MPs responded to the call for the same weekend when another Woodville incident caused titles. Police are still investigating a Friday night, a “rage incident”, which ended with a shooting and a man in a critical condition with two rifles to the abdomen.
