LC State Women’s Tennis Falls to Idaho State in Boise – Big Country News

boys – The Warrior women continued their challenging weekend in Boise with a match against NCAA Division I Idaho State on Saturday. LC State women’s tennis used the opportunity to gain valuable experience heading into the season.

After teaming with Ana Govea at No. 3 doubles for a 6-2 loss, Rayana Shah battled back in her No. 1 singles match to win six games. She fell 6-3, 6-3 against her opponent.

Beatrice Lambru had the strongest match of the day and pushed her opponent at No. 4 singles to three sets. After dropping the first frame 6-3, she rallied to take the second set 6-3. She lost the tie-breaking set 10-5.

Gwyn Heim picked up five games in the loss at No. 5 singles. She fell 6-3, 6-2.

The Warriors continue their competition against NCAA DI opponents on Jan. 31 when they host Montana in a doubleheader beginning at noon at the Tennis Center.
