Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – You have another week to get sweet treats – and mentors to support young people!
The large donut boxes are waiting to be filled in the top ten of Baker in North Topeka.
Owner Jake Wall and Clint Bibbbler from Bob’s porter visited NO Kansas’s eye to share how the promotion supports the big sister of Shawnee Co.
This is the 16th year that Jake has raised. It donates 1 dollar from each dozen donuts it sells to BBBS. The first year he raised just over $ 150. He then joined friends who match every $ 1. With Bob’s Janitorial, Brian Green Allstate Insurance and Mark Yardley sign, this means that a total of $ 4 is donated to each dozen sold.
Last year, they raised $ 6,100 and hoped to win this amount this year. Jake said three days cold, snowy this month, make them run behind, so he hopes people find their way this week to support the cause!
The Big Box Donut promotion continues in February 28 on a dozen Baker, 1949 NW Topeka Blvd.
