Las Vegas Raiders WR1 suffered a lower leg injury in Week 5
Jacoby Myers suffered an apparent ankle injury in their loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 5. Myers did not practice in practices on Wednesday and Thursday but was upgraded to a limited participant on Friday in Week 6, but the Raiders downgraded him from questionable to out for that game. He did not participate in practice last week and the Raiders ruled him out after initially listing him as questionable for Week 7.
Antonio Pearce expressed optimism Friday that he will return this week. “I let them rest a little bit more on Thursday and they’ll practice today,” Pierce said of Myers and Max Crosby, adding that he expects both to play Sunday against the Chiefs. “If you get Jacoby back, that’s a good boost.”
He is expected to play
Jakobi Meyers participates on a limited basis on Wednesday, rests on Thursday and upgrades to a full participant on Friday. The Las Vegas Raiders listed him as questionable on this week’s injury report. According to Ian Rapoport on NFL NetworkThe Raiders expect Myers to play against the Kansas City Chiefs, which would greatly bolster a short-handed offense that no longer has Davante Adams on their team.

Who will start at WR today?
Las Vegas’ starting lineup will likely be Tre Tucker and Jakobi Meyers on the outside, with DJ Turner II in the slot. If Meyers can’t play, expect Alex Bachman to get the nod, as the Raiders haven’t promoted or brought up any wide receivers for game day (Justin Shorter is considered a tight end).
