LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A police helicopter had to land on a college campus near Las Vegas Tuesday night.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, an LVMPD helicopter made an “emergency” landing around 8:00 PM in the CSN Henderson Campus parking lot, near College Drive north of I-11.
“A warning light was activated and following FAA training and guidance, the pilots safely landed the helicopter,” LVMPD said in a news release.
No injuries were reported.
Back in August, another LVMPD helicopter landed in a neighborhood near Pebble and Arville. The helicopter landed in the middle of the roadway and was eventually towed away.
There are no reports of casualties during this landing either.
